About NY Marriages

Experienced Long Island and New York City wedding officiants creating ceremonies that feel personal, natural and unmistakably yours.

Personalized Wedding Ceremonies Since 2006

Experience Matters. So Does Understanding the Couple.

If there has been one constant throughout more than 13,000 ceremonies, it is this: every couple brings a different story, personality and set of expectations to the wedding day.

NY Marriages was built around listening first. We do not believe one ceremony—or one style of delivery—fits everyone. Our role is to understand what feels right to you and then create and deliver a ceremony that reflects both of you.

Every setting is different. The ceremony should feel equally individual.

Large or Intimate. Traditional or Entirely Your Own.

We have officiated weddings both large and small, religious and secular, modern and traditional. Ceremonies have taken place in catering halls, wineries, restaurants, parks, private homes and meaningful locations throughout Long Island and New York City.

Some couples want a brief civil ceremony. Others want personal vows, readings, family participation, spiritual language, a unity ritual or a memorial honoring loved ones. Those choices belong to the couple—not to a rigid script.

A ceremony should not sound as though it could have been written for anyone. It should sound as though it could only have been written for the two people standing there.

More Than the Words Spoken During the Ceremony

Our responsibility does not begin when the processional starts or end with the pronouncement. We help couples understand the marriage-license process, coordinate with the venue and other wedding professionals, and arrive prepared for the details that can affect the ceremony.

That preparation allows you to remain focused on one another rather than worrying about timing, paperwork or what comes next.

Listening

We learn the tone, priorities and boundaries that make the ceremony feel comfortable to both of you.

Preparation

We arrive ready to coordinate the ceremony details and adapt calmly when the wedding day changes.

Delivery

We balance eloquence with natural conversation so the ceremony feels heartfelt rather than performed.

Wedding Ceremonies and Vow Renewals That Ring True

Whether a couple is marrying for the first time or returning years later to renew their vows, the goal remains the same: to recognize the relationship honestly and create a moment that feels worthy of it.

Warm and romantic, understated and conversational, spiritual, humorous or somewhere in between—we shape the ceremony around the people, not the other way around.
