Marissa and Nick also have a penchant for watching 1980’s Music countdowns and then downloading the songs they love to their iPods.  In this spirit, I have put together an 80’s playlist for them which they may use to assist them in their married life with one another.

It is pertinent for you both to realize how truly powerful and pure the emotion of love can be.  It can make you feel as if you’re “Walkin’ on Sunshine” or can be extremely addicting as Robert Palmer has once stated and from time to time, “Love is a Battlefield”
Take comfort that the person standing before you is your “Love of a Lifetime”  Explore new things and places with each other whether it’s a weekend getaway to “La Isla Bonita”, a two-week jaunt “Down Under” or just a leisurely stroll rockin’ down to “Electric Avenue”.  “Don’t Stop Believin’” in what you both have created together despite the fact that you will undoubtedly face arduous times.  Try to take life with a grain of salt, in your heart always staying “Forever Young” or just a couple of “Kids In America”.  Look for things to praise in one another, “Just Call to Say I Love You” and like Corey Hart once sang, you can “Never Surrender”

You have come a long with in your journey together and I have had the pleasure of seeing firsthand the beautiful people you both embody. I know within my heart that your marriage unlike most of the aforementioned songs on your playlist will not be a one-hit wonder, but be one that will transcend time…just like the Michael Jackson “Thriller” CD.
